This summer's conference will take place on the beautiful University of Connecticut main campus at Storrs, Connecticut from July 3rd to 6th. Storrs is 30 miles east of Hartford. Our conference will be held at the Student Union. The residence halls and dinning facilities are nearby. Here is a map to the Storrs campus.
The conference theme will be The 21th Century Outlook. Main panel topics include politics, culture, health, women's movement, high tech, and finance. There is also a formal evening concert, as well as the ever popular Taiwan Night.
The Young Professionals' program will be organized by SOTA(Society of Taiwanese Americans). The Youth program will be organized by high school participants. Please come and join us to have a fun-filled and enriching July 4th long weekend in Storrs.
