Day 7, Torremolinos (Costa del Sol)
The seaside promenade in front of our hotel in Torremolinos.
Relaxed and content. No bus today and no schedule to meet.
The village in the background is the fishermen's district, La Carihuela.
Vincent loved the warm weather in a December day. No wonder this area is
called sunny coast.
Beautiful flowers along the promenade.
We went to Restaurant La Lonja for seafood lunch.
The menu comes with pictures, names in Spanish, and prices in Euro.
Our salad.
Fried baby squid (they were very good!), and a fried white tiny fish we did not
know its name.
Fried smelt, very good too.
Fried baby eel.
The heads looked a little bit scary, because we are not used to seeing eel
with heads.
That's why we turned them belly-side-up, so that we did not have
to look at the heads.
We saw a vendor with a grill under a tent selling sardines grilled to order.
sand sculpture along the beaches.
Life is good!
In the evening a dancing party was going on at our hotel's lounge. This couple danced very well.
