Day 8, Poros and Aegina

Galileo set out for Poros island around 5:30 am.

Leaving Piraeus behind us, the sea and scene were very calm.

Shortly after breakfast, Poros island is visible to the right, our destination this morning.

Menelaos took our team for a walk along the harbor.

After drawing Euro from an ATM, we went to a bank to change large bills into smaller ones.

Dinner buffet on Galileo today. (Today's lunch was also a buffet. Yummy fried calamari.)
We like buffet better than served meals, because buffet gave us more varieties of food.

From Galileo we watched a firework at Aegina harbor.
