Day1, Arrival in London (6/26/2025)
Our driver led us to the airport's parking garage where he parked his van.
It was a very spacious van.
Our hotel's entrance (under the purple awning).
The hotel occupies a part of the eastern side of the former
London County Hall building.
The street in front of our hotel's entrance is restricted to authorized motor vehicles only.
It posed a bit of inconvenience when we called for Uber,
because we had to walk out to the street corner to wait for them.
The London Eye Ferris wheel, just behind the County Hall building.
Gail's Bakery, very popular and is about a 1-minute walk from our hotel.
A M&S Food Hall on York Road is not far from our hotel.
Trafalgar Square with Nelson's Column at its center.
Chinatown, near Gerrard Street.
British Museum
British Museum.
We had dinner at Restaurant Strada on the bustling boardwalk just behind our hotel.
Angelina enjoys eating pasta as her comfort food.
MC's seafood pasta was very good.
