海天下: lobster in rice porridge 龍蝦粥.

Students may be young or may be much older, who all tried to pass the imperial examination.


Students who wanted to pass 武科 (Wu Ke) exam must also practice certain physical skills.

韻藏中餐廳: our roast duck was ready to be carved.


韻藏中餐廳: a duck served two ways.
Sliced duck meat was served in a flour wrapper and the rest of the duck was made into a soup.

東港 (Donggang) 華僑市場 (Huaqiao Fish Market).


The entrance to 東港 佳珍海產 (JiaZhen Seafood) restaurant.
They have multiple floors of space inside.
Many customers and many service staff. The service staff were very courteous.


佳珍海產: 和風大鮑魚 (Japanese style abalone salad).


佳珍海產: fatty tuna sashimi.
Each sashimi order comes in 7 pieces.


佳珍海產: 櫻花蝦米糕 (Rice Cake with Sakura Shrimp).
This 米糕 was very delicious.


佳珍海產: look at the soup dish; it is called 魚翅丸湯, fish ball made with shark fins and other seafood.
This fish ball was outstanding! It was firm to the bite and very tasty.


On the evening before VT and MC were leaving Kaohsiung for Tainan, we dined with the #5 brother's family.
They originally picked an Italian restaurant close to home. VT suggested choosing a restaurant serving local cuisine.
Then they texted us that they were able to book a table at 韻藏中餐廳 in a short notice.
So off we go; everyone had a good time.
