Ginza Line is one of the oldest subway lines in Tokyo.
It connects two big tourist attractions, Asakusa and Shibuya,
and also stops at Ueno, Nihonbashi and Ginza.

Philip and Ayumi were also in Tokyo at the same time. They stayed at a hotel 40-min subway-ride away from Asakusa.
Philip made a trip to visit us at the Richmond Hotel during breakfast time.
All the uncles and aunts were very appreciative that he made an effort to come see us.

Senso-ji (浅草寺), the oldest temple in Tokyo.
It is only a 3-minute walk from our hotel in Asakusa.

Next to the Sanso-ji on the eastern side is the Asakusa Shrine.
MC was very happy to show everyone the Asakusa shrine where the Takashima brothers (東京大衆歌謡楽団) sang in so many videos.

Sanso-ji's Thunder Gate, Kaminarimon, 雷門.

We arrived at the Izuei Honten restaurant around 2:30 pm hoping for no queue, and there was no queue.
The restaurant has occupied the same location for about 300 years, but the neighborhood has changed.
The restaurant also has been rebuilt and has grown taller.

The restaurant is across the street from Ueno Park's Shinobazu Pond (不忍池).
We took a walk along Shinobazu Pond after our meal.

Isuei (伊豆榮) restaurant has more than one locations.
This is the main restaurant (本店).

Several of us ordered set meals like this, a small unagi don and a side of sashimi.
The unagi did not come with an adequate amount of sauce flavor.
Instead, there was a wooden jar on the table with sauce inside, so that guests may add as little or as much sauce as they want.
Initially, we did not add sauce, and the unagi was lacking in flavor.
Then we added sauce, but the sauce was at room temperature, not warm at all.
That was why I felt the unagi was not as outstanding as I had expected from such an establishment.
