Liffey river flows from west to east cutting through downtown Dublin,
much like Charles river cutting through Boston.

At 9am, it was overcast, windy and chilly.

Sitting benches lined a section of the river bank.

The Old Library of Trinity College.
This building houses the Book of Kells and other ancient munuscripts.

Signage to the ticket office.
Most folks pre-puchased tickets online.

The Campanile.
This bell tower is one of the most iconic landmarks of the Trinity College.

Visit Dublin, the Tourist Information office in downtown Dublin.
We always stopped at a TI to get printed maps, use free WIFI and bathroom.

M.J. O'Neill's,
a historical bar and restaurant honored by having its own Wikipedia page.

Street performers on the Grafton street.
(The dog was not real, it was a toy dog.)
If you were to drop coins into the tin can, the three performers would
slightly move their limbs or lips to acknowledge your generosity.

Vibrant flowers on a vendor's cart.

Grafton street, a pedestrian shopping street.

Coffee, fruit scone and free WIFI at a cafe inside the M&S Department Store.

There was a M&S Food Hall a few doors down.
By then we already had our coffee break, so did not go in to check it out.
May be it was a heaven of all kinds of ready-to-go food?
