Day 5, Keukenhof - Flower Garden
As we approached Keukenhof, we could see rows of flowers in the field
through our bus window.
The entrance used by visitors who arrived by large buses.
Some flowers were outdoors, some were inside pavilions.
These flowers were exhibited inside a pavilion.
There was a windmill, a gift shop, as well as vendors selling sandwiches
and ice cream.
From the upper floor of the windmill we could see rows of flower beds.
Utility chairs for resting sore feet.
You can purchase bulbs in the gift shop, and they will ship overseas to your
home.
These were what the bulbs look like. Each was as big as a tennis ball.
Each year the exhibition features a theme. This year's theme was
Germany.
Here was a Brandenburg Gate made from flowers.
